i took an 8mm 323 and placed it in the muzzle of my M94 point first. it did not go in near the cannelure it stopped at the break in the ogive. a cast lead -unsized-323, nose first, stopped before the grease grooves. try this test on yours. i know this thread was closed--maybe this new one will not be out-edited

    I'm not surprised that the .323 would not fall through the bore, as I believe the raised portion of the rifling is .323 or less; however, the grooves are .329 and if .323 bullets are fired, not only will full accuracy be impossible, but excessive gas blow by will wear the barrel faster.I found a place that carries the proper mould for casting. Still, I may try some .323's anyhow.
