Marlin Guide Gun

I own a Marlin Guide Gun (45-70 govn't). I love the gun, but I am wondering if anyone has made an aftermarket synthetic stock? I prefer synthitic stocks to wood.

    I have seen the aftermarket stock on the guide gun with some modifications to the rear sight and a compensated barrel. It was in a guns and Ammo magazine a few years back. If you go to a search engine like google.com and do a search on the work guide gun you might find it. FYI Gibbs Rifle company makes a 45 70 in a bolt action gun. Good Luck
