New Taurus .45cal revolver

I just saw the ad for the Taurus .45cal Stellar Tracker revolver. Have any of you had the opportunity to see it or hold it? Any info about it would be interesting. Tnx! pavil

    If you buy it you have to like the "ribber" grip.

    None of the grip manufacturers are doing anything for this Taurus "compact frame" revolver. I bought a 22 Magnum Tracker and currently my only grip option is the hard rubber combat grip available from Taurus.

    Reading magazine reviews they seemed to like this grip as it was a good recoil absorber on the short barrel 357's and the 41 cal

    Personally, I do not like the "squishy feel" and of course recoil is not an issue with the WMR cartridge
