Stock Maker?

I have a rifle stock that is cracked. Is there anyone out there that will duplicate a stock? I know I have seen milling machines that will duplicate from a pattern and my stock is still in one piece.

Thanks,

If you have all the pieces of the stock, consider using epoxy and pins to put it back in shooting order. If the crack is due to recoil, you might want to let a gunsmith look at it and relieve the wood where it is coming in contact with the action.

Having a new stock duplicated could get a little expensive.

I don't know of any in the news group, but you may get online and start looking up gunshops in houston, tx. I know for a fact theres a guy there somewhere who makes custom stocks. I see him all the time at the houston gunshows.

Custom stocks aren't that hard to come by, it would probably be less expensive to have one of the custom rifle shops fit a stock especially for you, than to have yours "duplicated". There's one in College Station, and there is a real good one in New Braunfels www.hcrifle.com Or you could get a factory new stock for your make/model in either wood, or synthetic
