    I own a Parker Hale Model 1200,cal270win. The seriel nr starts with R27... the rest is not readable.
    Can someone help me when the rifle could have been built and how much it is worth?

    The Model 1200 was first produced in 1968, and as far as I know was still being built when import ceased in 1991. It is basically a '98 Mauser action produced in England. You didn't specify the condition, but if in 90% of original condition it is worth about $330.
