Carl: The Winchester books are available from Guncraft Books. There P# is 1-800-966-4538. The books I'm talking about are called Winchester Book, Winchester Engraving, Winchester Lever Legacy, Winchester Model Twelve, Winchester Model 12 1912-1964, Winchester Model 52, Winchester Model 42, Winchester Model 94, Winchester Model 21, Winchester Single-Shot vol 1 and vol 2, Winchester Slide-Action Rifle M1890-1906 and Winchester Handbook. Sorry! There is 13 books. The best I think are the Model Twelve, Model 52, Winchester Book and Winchester Handbook. There may be other places to buy these books. Hope this helps.

Since the other thread had a lock beamed on it by Scotty, before I could add some input, I will do it here.

If you shoot anything with black powder, then one of the most valuable resources that I know of is the "Dixie Gun Works Catalog". The information in the back of the catalog is well worth the price alone.

    Best Regards
