I would like to know the value of my .357 magnum CTG Colt, Trooper MKIII pistol. P.T.F.A. Mfg. Co., Hartford, Conn. It is in excellent condition & comes with holster. Also have a Winchester box of 50 ammo for the gun. Any help is appreciated.

it's hard to put a vlaue on a gun because it's worth what someone wants to pay for it. i see these being sold at around $300 but yours might bring less or it might bring more depending on who is making offers at the time.

    i never make misteakes.

There are some things that will make one more valuable than another.

    1. Original Box
    2. Never fired
    3. Original Paper work
    4. Barrel length

It is what the market will bear. The Python put most of these in a group of not wanted very much. It is a very good hand gun and is stronger than the Python. It just is not as pretty. I have seen used ones here go for $250.00 and some New never fired for $700.00. If it is of sentimental value then do not sell. If you just need some cash then check out the auction and go with the flow. My 2 cents
