Adapter pin for large hole ar-15 upper/small lower

Got an older large hole Colt HB pre-ban upper receiver. Need to find a pin that will allow me to attach it to a small hole lower( also pre-ban). Could a machine shop make me a bronze bushing to put in the large hole with a small hole opening. If this is not really feasible, maybe I should just sell or trade the upper??? Thanks.. Any ideas????
