Novice needs AR15 help

This is what is stamped on the rifle Bushmaster Mod X15-E2S. It has a 6x24 Leupold Mildot scope,10 30rd 8 40rd and 2 20rd mags, sling, case, 2 different triggers and a new safety pin or switch.It is in great shape,what is the approx value? What can you tell me about this rifle?

    The value of most common guns can be found by doing a Gunbroker SmartSearch (from the Gunbroker home page). Look at the price actually realized (or the top bid) for auctions completed within the last 90 days.

    In the case of Bushmasters, also look for prices on the Bushmaster website. Find a similar gun, & subtract for wear & missing box/accessories.

    The value of common scopes & triggers can be found by looking at completed auctions on epay.

    The value of mags depends upon the manufacturer & condition. Again, look at GB completed auctions.

    In great condition you'd probably be in the $1250-1500 range (assuming USGI mags for the 30rd'ers and not that Western Metal crap)

    yeah, Bushmasters are great rifles anyway, and the Leupold scope will fetch you quite a bit more.
