Info on Beretta 1934

I have a Beretta Model 1934 that was brought home from germany by a family member after the war. I have found lots of information on them except that mine has a chrome finish. All the ones I have seen are blued. Is this a common finish and does it change the value? I am wanting to keep it in the family and pass it on to my son. Just wondering why I don't see more about this gun.

    Model 1934 = 9mm Corto
    Model 1935 = 7.65mm (.32 ACP)

These are frequently misidentified. The Germans used the 1935 however the only marking to denote is a stamping of UT4 in an oval on the frame. Otherwise it looks just like a 1934.
