FTF

Hello, I fired my new
RRA 6.8 Coyote Carbine
to day and it's great.
The recoil is a bit more than
the 223.
Using silver State Armory,
I had a ftf. The primer
just "fizzled". All other
19 rounds fired without a hitch.
The dimple on the ftf shell and
all other fired shells look
normal,but you can actually see
where the primer face let go on the
ftf shell.A bit of smoke blew out of the
chamber. If I can get my Camera back
I'll post a pic.Has anybody had
issues like this before?
This is only the 2nd centerfire shell
in my 59 yrs that was bad. first one was
a 12 ga shell that was a dud.
Thanks much-Ron

Everybody runs into "DUD" primers once in a while.

Congrats on a great rifle, Ive been drooling over one for some time now. As far as the FTF just like dcs said chauk it up to a bad primer.
I dont know if this would be frowned upon but I would like to pull the bullet and check the condition of the powder.
