Hello all, does anyone have any experience with a Remington premier over under? I am in the market for a good 20 ga but not wanting to break the bank. Is it well made and what would be a fair price? I looked at one at a local gunshop and like it alot but dont know much about it and not sure if their price is in line...which is $949... thanks in advance

Look at the CZ line of stack barrels. There is also the Fausti line up, that is most likely made in the same factory that the Remingtons are.

Not even close, Fausti is made in Italy, much higher quality than a CZ, and they make the Weatherby shotguns now.

The premier is a decently made gun. The trigger pull is not the greatest and the fit and finish is fair for the price. IMO keep your eye out for a nice used Citori. You should be able to pick one up for about what you want to pay for a Premier, have a better gun that will be easier to resell if you don't like it and not loose 30% the day you buy it.

That Remington Premier is not made in the US, just so you know. It is definately not the same breed as a 3200.
