I came across two boxes of "Caliber 45 Match". They are white boxes with a blue eagle design over the word "MATCH" in red letters. One box has "1962" and the other is "1969" The '62's are made by Federal Cartridge and the '69's by Remington Arms Company Inc. Both boxes are full.
Would these be of interest/ value to cartridge collectors and what would a starting price be if I were to put these up for auction?

Now remember when we shot a match we did not get sighter shots The first round down range was for score. This is where having only one box really does not do you much good . If you test and Zero the pistol with this one box then you will need at least 30 rounds and if you shoot the President 100 match you will need 40 rounds for one match. The KEY word is MATCH . These matches pit the best offhand 1911 Shooters in the world at both 50 and 25 Yards. . I would say $30.00 + or - $5.00 a year ago NOW value [?][?][?] $
Go to GB auction "Ammunition" sites. Search "Match" and you'll get a lot of hits that will give you the going price. Pay no attention to those that have no bids.
In general, 45ACP Match is not particularly collectable. It should sell for no more than the same quantity of good commercial shootable ammo. The older ammo (pre WW II)does have some collector value but you're not going to hit the lottery selling any kind of 45ACP.
My own opinion, as a collector, is no more than $20 to $25 per box. UPS will add another $10 to $15 so you can see what a shooter is going to have to pay for a box.
As to accuracy - unless you're a Master Class shooter, you won't see any difference between the Match hard-ball and the standard issue hard-ball. Depending on your pistol, you may not see any difference regardless of how well you shoot.
