How to make 22 Magazine rolled crimp.
Getting ideas from more experienced
than I... I have a metal lathe

    I've seen tools similar to a pipe cutter but not sharp, they'll make a crimp like that. Check with bicycle shops that do a lot of repair or custom work.

    The pipe cutters have a sharp wheel for cutting pipe/tubing. They make a special wheel for crimping. If you have two cutting wheels for your cutter, or in other words a spaer, take a dremel, and round the sharp edge of one off...now you have a crimping tool, untill you change the cutting wheel.

    We used to stretch Smith & Wesson cranes to adjust fore and aft slop using the pipe cutter method like mentioned above. Make sure your cutter is rounded off so it doesn't cut, and be sure to use a mandrel to prevent the tube from crushing.
