S&W 32 cal 5 screw revolver ser 779xx

does anyone know when a S&W revolver 32 cal 5 screw (4 on sideplate 1 under trigger) with a serial number of 779xx was manufactured and perhaps a approx value ?? also it's chromed

    Pictures would help a lot. See sticky one of the post on top of yours that explains how. Also Chrome would be Plated buy someone other then factory and Kill the value . Nickle is the type of finish that would be factory and Condition would be the difference Between $100.00 and $800.00 With out pictures .It is sort of like a question of " I have a Blue Ford what is it worth" Help us help you.

    There are too many unknowns. It could be a .32 Winchester (.32-20) or a .32 S & W (most likely).
