Old metal powder canister any collector value?

My neighbor has an old? 8lb. metal canister of Herco powder, it's about 1/2 full notice that the cap doesn't seal well. Just wondering if the canister itself has any collector value? The label is there but pretty worn out.

the early canisters from 1930's and earlier get attention, i believe
yours is from the 1960's and there's not much collector interest.

Sold to a Hardware store in Parkersburg, WV.
I would need to look at the Tag again to conferm the date, as I remember it was around 1900.
I recall in the late '40s or the '50s buying Dupont black powder in red oval cans having small screw tops a half inch diameter or so. The black and white labels had old style printing.
To open, you push down in the center of the cap.
Unless the cap is damaged, that is how you open and reseal the can.
