I have a sxs damascus barrel 10 gauge shotgun. It says L.C. Smith on the left side of the receiver. On top of the barrels it says "Maker of the Baker Gun" What can you tell me about it and what is its value? It also has hammers and double triggers. To break it open you push the front trigger forward.

Made for a short time in Syracuse, NY while Smith and Baker were partners of sorts. After the split both men went on to form companies of their own.Depending on condition...A 90%+ gun will be quite desirable to some collectors. Value will be hard to place, but I'd guess north of the $500.00 mark. Lesser guns won't attract much attention, but are by no means worthless.Damascus - Don't shoot anything but black powder loads!
