I own a Remington 1100 20 gauge shotgun w/choke tubes. I've tried shooting all sorts of slugs through various choke tubes and I'm 4 foot low @ 100yds and 3 foot low @ 50yds. What do you guys suggest I should do. Rifled Barrel, if so what kind? Or is this just a characteristic of this gun? Any info is appreciated.ThanksBT

Just about any barrel you use should do better than that. I can only give you my choices. #1 Hastings cantilever scope mount rifled barrel---#2 Rem rifled barrel---#3 Rem. smooth bore rifle sited slug barrel. If your slugs are grouping you might try removing the barrel and do a serious cleaning on the receiver where the barrel mates. Make sure you replace the barrel securely. Don't use channel locks or anything like that but tighten just as tight as you can by hand. I'm taking it for granted that you have a BB sight on the barrel now.
