I'm looking for a holster for concealed carry with a 4" S&W model 19. I realize this may not be the best concealed carry gun but until the money flows a little more I need to stick with it. Any suggestions

You aren't gonna be able to hide that model 19 unless you're wearing a heavy coat or jacket. I sometimes carry a 2 1/2" model 66 in a Don Hume belt slide holster, but only in cold weather when I'm wearing a heavy jacket. I have tried it in a generic leather IWB holster, but it's just too thick through the cylinder to carry that way. I like having the .357 power available, but a K-frame isn't really practical to carry unless you live in Alaska. I suggest you get a cheap Uncle Mike nylon belt holster to get you through the winter, and by then maybe you can afford something you can just stuff in a pocket, like a Kel-tec for example. I carry a Chief's Special that way in summer when i'm wearing pants with large deep pockets, but I'm looking at a Kel-tec 9mm to replace it with. Revolvers are just too thick, and belt holsters are a big PITA in my opinion.
