I have two BSA rifles, an older 30-06 and a new 270. I would like to know if there is anywhere on gods green earth I could look or call about information on these guns, and/or replacement parts for these guns. Also, if you know, give me a price range that these BSA rifles should run. Thanks for your help.

I recently bought a BSA Monarch rifle to replace mine that was stolen 5 months ago. It has an 8Exxxx serial No. and the bolt has five stars embossed on the bolt. Is this rifle a Monarch or is it in fact a Majestic Deluxe? I purchased my original rifle in 1971 and its serial number was an 8M series, and since it was purchased new I know it was a Monarch.

These BSAs were imported into the US in the 1970s, possibly later by the firm of J. L. Galef & Son Inc., 85 Chambers St., New York, N.Y. They were first class rifles for the price ($150 - $180). AS you may know they were manufactured by Birmingham Small Arms in the U.K. Parts are anybody's guess. You might list your needs on GB.com in Want Ad section.

Sorry I missed your last question. One of these in nice shape should still be worth $400 - $450.
