Old , I need to find out where this pawn shop is that you're finding these shotguns. According to the "2001 Standard Catalog of Firearms", the "V" code designation denotes a mfg. date of 1968. There were/are three in-house brands produced by Steven including thier name brand. Riverside, Springfield and Super Value all featured double triggers and extractors. I'm only showing a model 5100 in two books I refer to. However, I'm very sure the mdl. 5000 was a Stevens product produced at the time mentioned above. Good luck and Merry Christmas!!!!!Tidemanp.s. The model 5100 was the predecessor to the model 311. They were mfg. between 1941-1949. I've got a 5100. They are super sweet! I hope this helps!
