Bolt removal of a 10/22

anyone know how to remove the bolt/bolt guide from a 10/22... im doing my bi-annual deep cleaning and got the trig assembly all stripped and shiney...but how to remove the bolt baffles me....i tried taking the guide rod out of the little hole it sits in....but once its out of there the bolt wont budge....thanks

    You have to remove the buffer. It is a round pin behind the bolt running crossways of the receiver. Then the bolt can come back far enough to come out.

    i had taken out the buffer......but the bolt needs like 1/8 inch more room before it looks like it will come out.

    nm....there was a little crud build up that didn't let me pull it all the way back
