.22 auto pocket pistol

Need info on Italian made .22 semi-auto pistol.It shoots .22 long {NOT LR}. Inscribed on left slide Soc it Flli Galesi-Brescia-Cal.22 Serial number is 124xxx It is nickel plated with pearl grips,1.5 inch barrel{approx} with 8 round magazine.All steel with all machined parts,and seems to be very well made. The grips have a round emblem at the top with large letters AG inside a wreath. Can anyone tell me the manufacturer,year made,approximate value or any other info greatly appreciated

    One of the many incarnations of the Galesi pistols... they've been Rino Galesi, Armi Galesi etc...Sounds like you have one of the variants of the Model 9 pistol, possible also one of the Model 500 series, depending. Probably manufactured in the 1950's. If you look on the side of the frame (perhaps under the grips), it will probably have a Roman numeral marking that will correspond to year of manufacture.Value is going to be around $100 give or take.
