    When discussing any Smith & Wesson with a model number, everyone PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE give the full model number, including the "dash" number. The "dash" number greatly affects the value. Not giving the full number is like advertising a Firestone tire for sale without stating the size, or a Ford for sale without stating the model and year.There were no true M629 (no dash) Smiths with a 6.5" barrel of which I am aware. Some later "dash" M629s like the Classic did come with a 6.5" barrel. Post FULL information (including the Product Code, which should be on the box) and maybe someone will offer an opinion. Of course, you know about opinions....
