complete 7 shooter revolver parts set--new and in the white-not nickel- 2 bbls-32cal.with folding hammer. salesmen's sample???stolen from the factory??? or were these shipped to customers. ser# and assembly # matching.

    If they were salesmens'samples they might likely be finished in nickel or blue. Since they were numbered they probably were handfitted to a particular gun.Merwin Hulbert offered spare, interchangeablebarrels of different lengths and folding hammers as options so it could have been an option package with the owner doing the blending & polishing of the barrels, at the joints, to the gun. Unfortunately, Mr Art.Phelps or Phillips, who was an MH authority and wrote a book on the subject died not too long ago.
