Voere M2117 .22 cal rifle specs and value?

I was told of a .22 cal rifle made by Voere that supposedly fires at an outrageous number of rounds per minute. The model number is M2117. I saw a picture of one and it looks like any ordinary .22 cal rifle would look like and so I am skeptical and feel my friend is making this up as a stupid joke. He said it can pump out rounds at a rate of 1800 per minute. Is he pulling my leg?

You might want to ask the fellow running this auction, he might know. He seems to advertise a lot of class 3 stuff. http://www.gunbroker.com/auction/ViewItem.asp?Item=2783673 It doesn't say what the model number is, but he's had this one up for a while and it seems to fit the bill (regular looking .22 made by Voere). The number of rounds/minute you mentioned does seem rather high, though.Hope this helps . . .
