30-40 Krag ammo

I may be wrong, but it seem that Winchester is the only one manufacturing 30-40 Krag ammo. I don't reload, (yet), but have been wondering if I should start saving the empty shell incase Winchester stops manufacturing this ammo. Is there another common 30 cal. shell reloaders can use? I sure will hate the day when this ammo is no longer on the self.

SAVE THE EMPTIES!!!! Even if you don't reload yet, you can sell them for a lot of money! I doubt winchester will stop making them in the near future. I think Remington also makes them. Empty brass could probably be made from .303 Enfield as I know Enfield can be made from 30/40... also, if you really wanted to, I'm sure some Bell Basic case could be formed for use, or perhaps the .348 Winchester. Also if worst came to worst, they could be lathe turned from solid brass, but don't worry, this caliber is a favorite and will be around a long time. If I can find brass for my 8X60R Portuguese Kropatschek, the Krag is no worry.
