Your magazine is an original magazine for your gun. The "R" means that it was made by the Ridson Mfg Co. The "C-R" means that it was made under subcontract by Ridson for Colt.-Charlie

The R on top stands for Risdon, the manufacturer. The C-R on the bottom stands for Colt-Risdon, which means that it was manufactured on contract by Risdon for use by Colt.Neal
