Howdy. I'm hoping to duplicate the appearance of a Winchester M97 trench gun. Heat shield, bayo lug, sling etc. Just can't afford the orig. Besides, its going to be a trunk gun. Any suggestions on where to buy a rep'l mag cap for sling attachment would be appreciated. Also who carries good slings.Have'nt picked up the gun yet. any thoughts on the quality of the piece would help.

Buy an Uncle Mike's swivel sling kit for the Remington model 870. It is the same thing. The Norinco is very heavy because it is all steel, rather than aluminum and the sling will come in handy.-Charlie

You might just want to wait until the Norinco Trench Gun is introduced later this year. I just returned from the SHOT Show, and Norinco introduced the replica Trench Gun, complete with all the goodies you mention. I am sure the Trench Gun will be in short supply for a long time so patience will be necessary.
