Lafever Arms Co?

Syracuse, N.Y. Side by side 12 ga. Dual triggers. Serial #598XX I found Lafever in the Blue Book, but there's no information on the gun as to the "grade". What is it?

    Because you found nothing to indicate a more expensive gun, you have a field grade. These are quality pieces and fall right into the same value range as similar L.C.'s though Lefever's don't fit me as well.
