Can anyone tell me the value of a SKB 600 field grade o/u? It is about eight years old with about 500 rounds through it and one small scratch on the stock. Seller says it is in excellent shape. All replys are appreciated. Thanks, kodiak1

I have a 12 ga. 600 Magnum, approx. 90%. I have been told it is worth about $450.00, and the 2000 edition of the Blue Book confirms that. However, I've seen a number of them in like condition at a few shows, and they are not shy about asking considerably more - $600 to $850. And they weren't willing to go much lower either. The 20's and a 410 were going for even more. I put 150-200 rounds through mine each week during the warm months. They are very nice handling shotguns.
    Kick it. Don't kiss it.

Thanks for the replys. Not sure yet if this gun is right for me. Price seems okay, but I am still undecided on the fixed chokes. Thanks again.
