I just bought a Kel Tec P-32 this weekend for my CCW as soon as I get my license. What do you guys recommend as far as a self defense round for this little sucker. The manual says not to use +P extensively in it. I plan to practice a little with whatever I decide to go with.-Marcus

+P isn't a necessity, any good hollow point would do, though of course .32 isn't the best defense caliber, it certainly is adequate.

Pre-fragmented rounds such as Glaser Magsafe and Corbon have done well in tests.Neal

I'm a big fan of the .32, due to size & accuracy, although I use slightly larger pistols in this caliber than the seecamp & others.I have found that the most consistent cartriges, that (knock wood) have no problems with feeding, shoot cleanly, etc. are the Winchester Silver Tips. I have noticed that in this caliber the biggest problem I have is with the Sellier & Belliot, although this is the cheap stuff for the range. For the range, get the Winchester, but not the silver tips. You get what you pay for.

I would shoot 100% Ball ammo, because when you life depends on a firearm the most important factor is that it shoot, and the most reliable ammo to fire thru it is ball.Just my 2 cents...Otherwise use Federal Hydra-Shock...

I carry a kel-tec p32 every day- I found some truncated cone FN brand fmj at a gun show- I think in .32 penetration is more important than expansion- if a hollow pt would evan expand in .32 is questionable & if it did I think it would lack penetration. Truncated cone will make a better wound channel than round nose & thats why I carry it.
