To dispell confusion reguarding Beretta & Taurus

Taurus never bought Beretta in the 80's. Beretta built a factory in Brazil to produce it's firearms with additional frequency, when profits, among other factors, made it non-profitable for Beretta to keep manufacturing products in that factory, THE FACTORY was sold to Taurus. Taurus produces their version of the model 92 on OLDER Beretta machines. These machines are not up to spec with current Beretta manufacturing tolerances. HENCE, the difference in price and quality between the two product lines. Taurus has NO affiliation with Beretta.

Beretta Customer Service 1-800-636-3420 Option 5 for parts/service.

Ask for Randal, He will be happy to extend to you the same information which he gave to me.

Hope this will eliminate any confusion as well as to further the cause of the ask the experts section, which is to ask/find/extend to anyone, the most accurate information available.

A great rifle with a junk scope,....is junk.
