I'm considering buying a tika whitetail hunter to hunt deer with. i have recently read alot about their quality and accuracy, but i don't know anyone who actually owns one. i have a 30.60 ruger which i'm not too happy with so the tika is in my price range ($600-700). any feedback would be appreciated.

I'm NO EXPERT, but Tika is a very nice rifle. Watch dealer closely as some recent models have come with cracks in stocks and also bent barrels. Claim is poor handling during shipping.

Tikka is now owned and imported by Beretta. The quality of these guns is excellant. I had my first experience with the rifle when it was made by Sako. I won a 270 in a raffle ,scope and all,I liked it so well I now on two more. As for accuracy they shoot better than I can. Hope this helps!!

    Good Luck.

The Tikka is made by Sako, who is also owned by Beretta.
