I was wondering what if someone had a suggestion for a 480. I know Taurus has the Raging Bull but I don't know about the quality. Does anybody have any other suggestions?

The only other .480 Ruger gun I know of is made by... Ruger. The Super Redhawk is a well built revolver, comparable in cost and quality to the Taurus. Probably not a bad choice either one.

The .480 Ruger is still a fairly new cartridge, however it has came out swinging. It has more muzzle energy and velocity than the .44Magnum, and shoots a much heavier bullet. The best advantage Ive found is unlike some of the other big Handgun calibers, recoil is very manageable. As for the Ruger Super Redhawk it has proven itself to be very strong. I hope this can be of help to you.

Buy the Ruger I did. Besides Ruger is the one who help design the 480.
