I have a mossberg model 835 ulti mag with camo finish. I bought the about three years ago to turey hunt with. It will shoot any 12ga shell all the way up to the shoulder punishing three and a half inch mag. It is pump action and some times fails to eject a fired round. It usually takes two or three racks of the action to eject, but it never fails to eject unfired cartridges. And some times it will eject a fired shell with no problems. Has anyone had this problem with the 835? what is causing it? Is there any thing I can do besides send it back to the factory? Thanks in advance! any help would be greatly appreciated. For the gun patterns well no matter what choke is in it. Also the bore has a factory overbore and ventilated rib.

I have one and it seems to me the breach just ain't quite big enough for the 3&1/2" shells. I usually just rack back real hard and hold it in the open position with a think about it kinda mentality (mental pause in the full open postion) and it usually comes on out. If I try to cycle fast, hangs up every time. I now realize I forgot to sell this damn thing! It is just with 3&1/2 shells right? They ain't stayin' in the chamber right?

Those 3 1/2" mags just really hurt. How can you guys bear them?

I just wish I had a dollar for every gun I wanted, then I'd be a rich man.
