Is there a bad AR15???

Does anyone have any experience with a factory AR-15 that didn't work? I mean a non-parts gun, that after break in period, didn't function reliably using good ammunition. Is there such a thing? I honestly have yet to hear of one.
And I don't mean the early M16's of Veitnam, cause that wasn't good ammo, and that was some extreme weather conditions.
I just wish I had a dollar for every gun I wanted, then I'd be a rich man.

The only nice thing I can say about it is they didn't argue about refunding my money. Of course now I'm stuck with about $ 150 in dies, brass, .311 bullets, etc. that I have no use for until I can find one that works.

The only problems I find are usually bad ammo, or user error. Also bad magazines have alot to do with malfunctions.
A while back I purchased a few military surplus AR-15 magazines for $2 each at a flee market. At the time I didn't have any clue about feed lips and spring tensions and such, so I just got the ones with the most finish left on them. About half of them wouldn't work right. Turned out the feed lips were bent out of shape.
