KIMBER RECENTLY REBUILT A NUMBER OF SWEDISH MAUSERS (CARL GUSTOF, WAFFENBRIK) NEW BARRELS, STOCKS, REBLUE, ECT. BUT NOT IN .338 (.308 YES) CHECK THE CAL. TO BE SURE. GOOD RIFLES AND WORTH $200.

From 1996 through the very first part of 1998, Kimber of America built some rifles on Mauser 98 actions. There were two versions, with and without fluted barrel (there are other differences, but that's the most easily described and most apparent). They did chamber the .338 Win Mag.

Either way, it was a good deal.
