My sister bought an older Browning .380 caliber handgun. The gun is engraved with Model FN 10/71. We are having a hard time finding a magazine for this gun. Does anyone know if the BDA 380 magazine will fit this gun? Can anyone tell me where to find magazines for this gun?

I tried looking it up in a few books but with not luck. Do you think maybe you could post a picture of it?

    I'm familiar with the FN 1910 and 1910/22 but not a 10/71.

Does it appear as though it would take a double or a single stack magazine?

I just wish I had a dollar for every gun I wanted, then I'd be a rich man.

It appears that the gun will take a double stack magazine. I will try to post a picture of the gun in a day or two? (Need to borrow a digital camera.)

The gun is built of a smaller frame (eaiser for a women to grip), has both the slide and the built-in stock (or grip) safety, and a thumb rest on the left-side grip to avoid the semi-auto slide action. It is a really nice looking and smooth, accurate shooting gun.

The dealer she bought it from said he thought it was manufactured in the 1970's and that he got it on consignment from the estate of a local gun collector. It had only one magazine with it.
