I would like to find information (including value)on this W.Richards
12 ga. double barrel shotgun. It has Wells Fargo 213 engraved on top between barrels. It is a pin fired 12 Ga.

I'm not familiar with that particular shotgun. However, you should be aware that thousands of wall-hangers were stamped "Wells Fargo" by unscrupulous dealers hoping to trick shoppers into thinking that they had made a "find" of a rare gun overlooked by the dealer.

    W. Richards is known to be a maker of inexpensive Belgian guns. That's not to say that W/F wouldn't purchase a Belgian gun, but it's much more likely they'd have Colt or Remington products. Later, I'd expect to see Savage/Stevens models.

One other note here that the others didn't mention... Pin fire ignition places the gun in the wrong timeframe. Too early for Welles Fargo and not accepted by the general population. Centerfire was the only way to go after the Civil War.
