I have a friend who just asked about a problem he is having with an older Winchester lever action .22lr that his father gave him years ago.
Seems a "friend" of his tore it down to clean it for him, and when he got it back, it now releases 2 rounds from the magazine each time the lever is cycled. I told him I am NOT familiar enough with that action to know the problem, but it sounds to me as if there was a piece installed improperly or omitted.
I know this is a vague description, but does anyone have any ideas as to what may be wrong?
