    Most likely they are sufficiently DEMILed. Machine guns must be torch cut into four sections with each cut displacing at least 1/4 inch of metal but other firearm receivers are not treated as drastically.

    reason I'm asking is for the longest time i saw M1 carbines being sold as only front rings and rear behind the bridge sections

    Used to require chamber welded shut and barrel welded to receiver.
    Definition probably changed due to some DEWATs becoming REWATs.

    You made a pretty good attempt at showing the pictures here. Missed it by just a tiny bit. For EACH picture, start the line with your bracket img bracket then finish EACH picture line with bracket forwardslash img bracket.
    Do this for each image. Then your picture will pop right into this forum. [:)]
