model 94 lockup

I inherited a couple model 94s. One a 1927 30 WCF and the other a post WWII 30-30. Both have very tight lockup with or without a round being chambered. I really have to pull on the lever to get the action to lock. Bores are pretty good on both and I'm not sure how much either was used. I can say they have not been used much in the last 40 years. I have cleaned them and cleaned them but it doesn't seem to make a difference. Any suggestions?

Yes... go shoot a few boxes of shells through each of them.

On a side note, please post or send me the serial numbers for both so that I can add them to my research survey.
