Pieper rolling block

I have an old rolling block marked H. Pieper.I can't seem to find any info about it. It has a 24" octagon barrel with Belgium proof marks.Has brass front and rear sights.The caliber is close to a 22 but not quite.It is very solid and does not appear to be shot a whole lot.Anyone know about these old rifles? Thanks
