Have any of you here gotton the new production Russian AK with the muzzle break welded on the barrel? Mine is supposed to be here in a few days, the FFL dealer just got it from the seller. If so, have you fired it? Any opinions if you have? Know of any reviews on it on the web? Thanks.

Can't go wrong with a Ruskie. One site I know of www.gunandgame.com There is a chat forum there. It may come up as a Remington link. click that and a directory of chat rooms will appear.

If it has the forward grip I think it has, make sure you bring a heavy glove to insulate your hand against the heat that will build-up if you empty a few high capacity clips through it.If they have made changes (different than the Saiga forearm it looks like) then you might be fine, but on my Saiga I had to make modifications to deal with the heat build-up.
