I'll be going to an auction that has a S&W LADY SMITH 357MAG S/N BNF9493 that my wife is interested in. (prabably for use on me...haha)...any idea (value) when I should drop out of the bidding?....Thanks for any help.

I have a S&W mdl. 65 LS stainless that I bought new years ago. A gun buddy wanted it bad and gave me $300 for it. Much later I had to have it back so he passed it back for the $300. I have not seen any lately at the shows, but a new left over one about a year ago was priced $365. Maybe this will help.

Thanks again for the advise. That $300 figure kept running through my head too. I'll see what kind of condition she's in and if all is well, I'll bid accordingly.....Good Evening
