NOW looking into a pocket, "allatime" carry piece. Saw the NAA .380, which goes for about $140 more than the KelTec P32.don't know about the reliability ofthe NAA; Have heard mixed opinions about the P32......Any comments please?

I have been carrying daily for last six years and bigger is always better- however since I'v got my KelTec P-32 I hardly carry anything else. Tried a lot of combos with this gun & holster or that gun or holster but get a Kel Tec and go to www.pocketholsters.com and get a wallet holster for it. Sits in your back pocket and looks just like a wallet. I also have an uncle mikes ankle holster for it that works great with loose jean. Just throw away the calf strap and lace the plastic buckle into the top eyelet of your boot laces when you tie your boot. Keeps the holster where you want it indefinately. You can't hardley tell your wearing it it's so light and flat. Mine shoots good & I use some FN imported ammo that is truncated cone fmj- for good penetration. Hope this helps.

If you can afford it look at the Kahr P9 or the P40. Same size as the Walther PPK but in 9mm and 40 S&W. My 2 cents.

I carry a Kel-Tec 32 in a pocket holster. It waighs 10 ounces loaded and I sometimes forget it's there. Have had no problems with mine, but if you do Kel-Tec has great customer service.

I come from a family of law enforcement/farmboys. Everyone I know swears by the KelTec. Now, this being said, I just bought one of the new Taurus dove-tailed, aluminum alloy/titanium hybrids and I love it. They are about 8-12 ozs. lighter, have the doved hammer which won't snag and they pack a great punch. I got mine in .357mag. You can't go wrong with either.

For an every day carrier you might want to look for a Colt Gov't Pocketlite .380. For a small gun they are hard to beat. Reliable, accurate and light. Its the only gun that I have ever carried that I really forgot I had on me.

The NAA .380 is as big as a Chief's Speical and at 18 ounces, weighs more than an Airweight Chief. It is a blow-back and kicks hard. If you want a .380, get a Golt Pony Pocketlite, which has a locked breach and weighs only 12.5 ounces empty. Hopefully, Colt will bring this one back, as it stands alone in its size and power category. For an even smaller and lighter package, try the Kel-Tec P32, which also has a locked breach and is smaller and lighter than anything else except a mini-revolver. Both my Pony and P32 have been totally reliabale. For a "forget it is there" (don't really forget and try to board an airplane or enter a restricted area) carry piece, nothing comes close to the P32.

I've got a berreta tomcat 32.I would/might/a got a keltec 9/mm.What I have found is you must be able to hit your target.Holding onto a small gun with lots of recoil is not good for accuracy. It's better to put a 32 where it counts than miss with 17 9mm's or 10 45's.What counts is having it when you need it and knowing you will hit your mark. Those new 32's are small and controlable.I Hade a acutec 9mm (small but too much recoil to hold steady),(you can't help but limp wrist it).I constantly wonder if 32 is enough; butit's much better than nothing.

NAA has a web site with a discussion group. They don't edit it & you can get all the pros & cons on all their products.

I can only speak from experience but I have heard wonderful things about the NAA from those that have owned them. I myself have owned two pocket-pistols. I loved my little Beretta Jetfire in .25 ACP. I had to sell it prior to moving to NY. I also love the Kel Tec P-11. Mom owns it now but I will probably get it back when dad buys her a revolver. I can't wait!

I originally purchased my p32 for summer time. Its so light that a waistban on short with no belt will hold it in place and I carry it quit often for the same reason reguardless of season. But... Its been said before, the sights suck and maybe its me but beyond 10 yard the accuracy isn't all that great either. Not that much fun to shoot and the 32s are a bit on the expensive side considering their 1/2 the size.Question: I has shot Fiocchi with no problems, but seller & bellot and some reloads I pick up from a gunshow. 2 out 3 seem to have harder primers that the gun wouldn't fire. What ammo are you folks shooting?[This message has been edited by just-shoot (edited 01-05-2002).]

I give 2 thumbs up to the Kel-Tec. I carry the P-11 off duty and a P-32 in an ankle rig as a back up on duty. Ill tell you what the dealer told me when I bought the P-32. Shoot 2 boxes of cheap FMJ's through it to smooth it up and break it in. Ive had zero problems from either gun.

I dunno, jest don't think that anything less than a .45 ACP is worth the carry. The .32 ACP is only gonna piss the miscreant off, assuming he is hit. Best choice is an overcoat with a 12 Ga pump with the shortest barrel and the maximum tube magazine length allowed by law in your jurisdiction. Swivel sling inside the overcoat is easy to make. Rather conspicous at the beach in the summer, tho. Marv

Marv, thats why you dont just shoot them once. You empty the magazine into them. I shoot Hornady XTP's.
