Ballester Molina 45

I Have a Ballester Molina 45 pistol with the slide marked POLICIA FEDERAL on the right side. Is this a commom marking or more collectable? Also this pistol is in excellent condition and looks brand new what would the retail value be?

    Hello ,These were marked for the federal police units ??? some of them were refinished prior to importation ...similar to colt,very few parts interchange...in org. cond. these have a slight collectors value , check - gun list , shotgun news , *************** ect...by the way these almost shoot great...and will feed anything ...if you could put a brick in the mag it would feed it !!! they had some also marked for their air force and navy as well...let us know if you want to part with it ...azgunnut2@yahoo.com....d.a. stearns / gunsmith , gallery salesathens , tn...423-746-4587.........

    Ballester Molina translates roughly to "Argentine Garbage Disposal"........will digest everyting shoved down it's throat. Have modest collector value/interest and a re-finish on these imports is virtually guaranteed. Hence the condition described. Fret not cause these are some fabulous shooters - enjoy it.

    You guys are right - they will fedd anything. I've got one that I picked up a few years back. My only complaint is the barrel - I need a new one. Where can I get one? Will a Colt barrel fit?

    A colt barrel will interchange with them. Had to replace mine as soon as I bought the gun. Has been very accurate and reliable ever since....
