I just bought an Ithaca model 37 featherlight 16 ga pump shotgun. Its old but not sure how old. Any way of telling what it is worth?

I`ve got one, with modified choke, not much bluing left on it.It didn`t sell for $215.at about 7 gun shows,so I brought it home and got attached to it,I like it equally as much as my M-12 Win.,and Wingmaster in Imp.Cyl..both also in 16 Guage..218

I bought a Ithaca 16ga model 37 for $150 at the last local gun show its about 95% NRA really a nice shotgun. You can look at their web site and look up the numbers and date it mine dates to 1952. Hope this helps

Thanks for that website address, I always wondered when mine was built. It was made in 1964, about 90%, Simmons ventilated rib, beavertail forearm, recoil pad, 12 gauge. I ran an ad on it a few years ago for $235, never got a reply. Also had a Remington Wingmaster, liked the 37 better.

I know where there are two 37s in 20 guage, one is a Deerslayer,..the other has a vent ribbed barrel, with a cool lookin Cutts compensator on it.They are both on consighnment so I don`t know how far they can come down from the $275. sticker .I`d like to get the pair for under $400. in a 5 gun deal.john carr, some people just don`t know a good deal when they see it,huh?gunnut,I was just to lazy to look it up,figured one of my buddies would come along and do it..guess it finaly worked ,huh? .218

There is a 2o guage on the auctions right now that I would love to have. The serial number is remarkably close to my 12 guage, and in addition, it has the ringtail forearm, just like mine. Oh, to have a pair of Ithacas in 12 ansd 20, and then to throw a 16 into the family-what could be greater?
