I have recently acquired, through a death, a S&W CTG patented calvary pistol with patent dates of Feb.6.05, Sept.14.09, and Dec.29.14. These numbers appear on the top of the barrel (6" or so). It also has "smith & wesson springfield.mass.us. on it. It is a double action revolver. In fact, there are "patent" numbers on almost every part of the pistol. Including, on the lift side above the pistol "cock" VEGA SAC CA... Also, on the butt is an emblem that includes the letters "V200347".Can anyone tell me what I have??thanks,F. Dan Spoon
